Gujarat Giants Name A Heavy Weight Coaching Staff For Inaugural Women’s Premiere League, Rope In Rachael Haynes

Gujarat Giants, owned by the Adani Sports Line group has started making headlines. The franchise has roped in the Legendary Australian Women’s Cricketer Rachael Haynes as head coach. Tushar Arothe has been appointed the team’s batting coach and former Indian spinner Nooshin Al Khadeer as the bowling coach.

Nooshin was the Head Coach of the victorious  Indian U-19 Women’s Cricket Team. Tushar Arothe has served as the head coach of the India Women’s Cricket Team.  Rachael Haynes’ experience will help youngsters in tricky situations as this league is considered to be a fascinating one.

Mithali Raj on Coaching Staff

Mithali Raj, the team mentor of Gujarat Giants was quite thrilled to announce the coaching staff. “The likes of Rachael Haynes, Nooshin Al Khadeer, Tushar Arothe, and Gavan Twining will certainly take the performance of the team notches up. Not only have they carved a niche for themselves in their roles, but their stories of resilience will be an inspiration for the team.” said Mithali Raj.

“Their combined strengths will enable Gujarat Giants to give their best performance on the ground at the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League, which will inspire several aspiring women athletes.” she added.

Rachael Haynes on Head Coach Post

Rachael Haynes was quite delighted with the inception of WPL and with her new role. “The Women’s Premier League is such an exciting addition to the cricket landscape. The opportunity to be involved in the inaugural season with the Adani Sportline owned Gujarat Giants and working with the brilliant Mithali Raj is something I’m really looking forward to.” said Rachael Haynes.

“We have formed a wonderful coaching team, with Nooshin Al Khadeer, Tushar Arothe and Gavan Twining, who will be bringing on board their rich experience which will help the team to play an exciting brand of cricket which our fans will enjoy watching,”  she added.
